Tech Valley Communications Receives Service Commendation from New York State Public Service Commission
(Albany, N.Y.) – The New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) has awarded Tech Valley Communications a commendation “for the high quality of telephone service which it provided during 2005.”
The Commission graded local telephone service providers (local exchange providers) on the basis of the company’s Customer Trouble Report Rate (CTRR) and PSC Complaint Rate. Tech Valley Communications had the highest possible grades in both categories, with zero complaints about Tech Valley Communications’ services from its customers registering with the company or the PSC.
Only 49 New York State companies and/or operating divisions of companies were recommended for service commendations in 2005. This is the second year in a row that Tech Valley Communications has been awarded a service commendation.
“We’re, obviously, gratified that we are living up to our expectations of providing our customers with the best possible telecommunications services,” said Kevin O’Connor, chief executive officer and co-founder of Tech Valley Communications. “Servicing our customers from our NOC (Network Operations Center) right here in Tech Valley with highly qualified local professionals has a lot to do with being able to provide the very best in customer service. Unlike our competitors, our technical support staff and customer service staff have an intimate understanding of the region, our customers our network and that paid off in our near perfect customer service record.”
