Tech Valley Communications Completes Voice and Data Network Upgrade for Hudson River Bank and Trust Company
Triples data network capacity; reduces operating expenses; and consolidates billing and service under TVC for network and security system that links 51 branches in 10 counties
Albany, NY . December 9, 2002 - Tech Valley Communications (TVC), the only locally owned, facilities-based carrier in the Capital Region, today announced that it has completed a major voice and data network upgrade and security system for Hudson River Bank and Trust Company. The upgrade at its main facility at city Centre in Hudson involved more than 50 T1 lines and 300 phone lines. TVC will also act as the single-source supplier for service and billing for the system that links Hudson River.s 51 branches in 10 counties.
